Recent Work

Scot & Dean

We’ve been getting a lot of people asking to see some examples of our recent work that uses the gear and techniques we talk about and recommend on our blog. So, here are three short videos we completed earlier this year for World Vision Canada. Each of these stories were essentially shot in one day with the Canon C100.

Scot McDonald: Director / Videographer / Editor

Dean Miles: Location Sound / Sound Design & Mixing / Music Scoring

If you guys are ever working within a couple of hours driving time around Indy, I’d love to watch you work (or even help for free). Thanks, Douglas.

It’d be great to see a follow up on the little girl’s story. Did they get water to her village? Did anything change? Sometimes I wonder if these non-profits actually do what they say they’re going to do.

Hi Zizi we often get asked how many of these stories end. With this story, we have not been back, so I can’t answer your question.

We have had the opportunity to visit many of the families we have documented years later to find them in a much happier, healthier, and prosperous situation then when we first met them. I would guess the little girl in the story now has access to clean water and many more improvements in her community that she will benefit from.

      Cheers,
      Dean
