Tiny Interview

Tiny Interview

The smallest interview space in my 25+ years of location audio.

Four people in an area that was no bigger then 6’ X 10’ (2 meters x 3 meters). When shooting in the slums of San Pedro Sula in Honduras, space is minimal. We found ourselves jammed into a tiny backyard area shooting an interview. Wedged between their house and a 9-foot (3 meter) wall of garbage with a clothes line to make the space even smaller, we recorded a 30 minute interview.

Believe it or not I boomed the interview with a Shure VP89S – sounded very intimate to put it mildly.

Sorry, no action shot of the interview – no room to move once we got set up.

Sorry Alex, I wish I spoke Spanish but I don’t. I have no plans to translate my courses.
